8 projects that use plants in proposals for small spaces

 "With social isolation, the need to bring nature closer has become even more intense and the search for green corners has grown considerably. With that in mind, we have separated eight projects that use plants in proposals for small spaces, inside and outside the home.


 1. Urban jungle

To achieve the result, the bet was a mix of foliage: lacquer palm, augusta strelitzia, elastic ficus, adam's rib, bromeliads and marantas. In the left corner, part of the vertical garden is made up of ferns and bridal veil. 



2. Village backyard Beside

Next to the lemon tree, the local couple planted maranta (frog belly). Stuck in the lemon tree are orchids. In the vase on the left, star jasmine. On the wall, there is a cat's claw (Ficus pumila). In the flower bed, Heliconia stricta, pacovas and guaimbês. Beside the tree, pots with spices such as rosemary and basil.



3. Private garden

In the smaller pots, there are marantas and Portuguese lace fern. In the background, adam's rib and a mix of philodendrons. 

4. Indigenous inspiration

In its resting corner, the highlight is the Amoa Konoya indigenous basket, hanging at the top right, next to the hanging vase with boa constrictor. At the top, the Ropes lamp was a gift from designer Christian Haas himself. 

5. Tropical climbing

January, to create a little green corner. As it was not possible to install a vertical garden, the office developed, in partnership with Wabi-Sabi Ateliê, the iron shelf on which it placed outstanding species: boa constrictors, deer antlers and hives. Cacti are in niches of intense light, and marantas occupy areas of greater shade.

To compose the decor, the resident gathered pieces from mining and family heirlooms, such as the iron plate with the words “nothing is difficult for those who want it”

For the hanging vase at the bottom, a lambari was chosen. In the foreground vessels, the croton and pleomele species appear. In the hanging vase above, the purple ragweed stands out.
